The topic we will deal with for the moment is how you interpret the law as it stands and what you think (if anything) should be changed about it. Please comment and share your views. We can only consider the opinions of the River Users who participate.
Whilst the blog is run by paddlers it is hoped that un-biased opinion can be acheived as there are no limitation on who can comment.

Please sign up to comment on any post or question. You can suggest a poll or send your photos. We will also publish any details of river clean ups you may have planned. You can even send a trip log which we will post. The Ogmore River in South Wales is of major interest to us as it is a good case study or a river which has many uses but is limited by certain factors but we welcome comments on any UK river.
The scottish laws which allow everyone to use the rivers is of obvious interest so if you have experience of this then please comment.

The River User Association is an informal group aimed at encouraging dialogue amongst river users of England and Wales. This includes those who fish, paddle, swim and maintain the rivers. It is hoped that through increased discussion mutual agreements can be reached on the use and preservation of our rivers.
